WorkPlace OnLine - Cloud Workforce Management
WorkPlace OnLine is a complete suite of Cloud or sometimes referred to as Software as a Service (SaaS) based Workforce Management (WFM) modules which include; Schedule Management, Attendance Management (Time and Attendance), Historical Forecasting, Shift Bidding, Work Tracking, Task Management and Staff Communications.

WorkPlace Systems New Approach to Workforce Management
WorkPlace Systems has 25 years experience of implementing Workforce Management systems and it has recently developed an innovative and pratical new implementation approach for new staff scheduling systems which avoids the traditional initial detailed forecasting model creation and the subsequent "push" from centre approach to changing schedules. This traditional method often resulted in very long deployment timescales and major change management issues with staff.
WorkPlace has pioneered a new Workforce Management implementation approach by utilising clients' existing schedules within the Schedule and Attendance Management module. These easy to use Schedule Templates can be completed in a few days but at most weeks, ensuring immediate visibility, compliance, control of labour, and project success are achieved early. This is alongside the business savings and efficiencies that are gained.
At a later stage or in parallel WorkPlace can produce an accurate Forecast which allows the comparison of schedules to the workload to see obvious improvements in the schedule and provide tangible measures of Service Level and ineffectiveness of schedules. WorkPlace then use the AutoScheduling module to make further small changes in the existing schedules to gain further incremental savings. This process is then repeated to take advantage of staff changes and increased staff flexibility. An intermediate or alternative stage between the more detailed Historical Forecasting is Computer Assisted Scheduling where a manager can estimate staff required or in a Retail environment take hours allowed by historical sales shape and then compare this with a schedule to show a visual indication of where improvements can be made.
This radically different approach results in very quick implementation, minimal change management for employees and management and very fast payback to customers in labour cost savings. Whilst the WorkPlace software is capable of providing the traditional approach, WorkPlaces' current implementations are taking advantage of this new approach with significant speed and cost gains at much lower risk of failure.
