Business Analyst

Overall Responsibility
Undertake all business analysis tasks associated with the implementation of the WorkPlace solution for a number of clients in line with the scope of works. Specifically:

  • Specify, develop and test complex reporting services reports as required by Project Teams in accordance with the specifications produced.
  • Specify, develop and test Pay Rules as required by Project Teams in accordance with the specifications produced.
  • Elicit requirements using interviews / workshops (including client site visits)
  • Analyse and document requirements - business processes descriptions, use cases, task and workflow analysis, configuration parameters for the client solution.
  • Working with Project Teams, assist with the technical aspects of importing and validation of required customer data.

Implementation Consultant
Overall Responsibility
Undertake all hands-on tasks associated with the implementation of WorkPlace solution for the client in line with the scope of works. Understand customer's requirements, document configuration parameters for the client solution. Configure the software in the client's environment. Import and validate the required customer data, Set up and test client solution. Prepare and deliver user training and prepare documentation. Where requested, coordinate the activities of Workplace and the customer necessary to achieve a successful implementation.

Graduate Application Developer
Overall Responsibility
With the overseas growth of our SaaS product, we have a requirement for a number of recent graduates who wish to pursue a career in application development. You will work in our application support team enhancing our market leading workforce management SaaS product. This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate looking to build their career in programming and application design. You should have a computer related degree to at least a 2:1 level and have spent a significant part of your course doing application programming and design. You should be familiar with PHP and preferably have exposure to My/SQL and Linux.

PHP MySQL Software Developer
Overall Responsibility

  • Develop PHP programs for the SAM module of the WorkPlace OnLine SaaS software suite.
  • Tune application code and database queries to improve overall application performance.
  • Investigate and resolve issues reported from customers, including updating fault logging system.
  • Test and prove all fixes and developments undertaken.
  • Be able to migrate releases between environments in line with Change Control and authorisation procedures.
  • Support Performance and Vulnerability testing of the application.
  • Participate in estimation of future software development.
  • Report progress and issues in Daily Scrum Meeting.
  • Participate in Sprint Review, including review of previous Sprint and commitment to work for next Sprint.
  • Provide assistance to internal customers as required, e.g. sales, pre-sales, customer implementations, customer support etc.
